Our Objectives
- Monitor the state of sustainable development in Egypt through a non-governmental civil perspective, published in a periodic report, and contribute to tracking the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt Vision 2030 Strategy.
- Establish a center of expertise for all national institutions and the Parliament to facilitate partnerships and contribute to sustainability mechanisms through the knowledge of the forum’s scholars and experts.
- Create a bridge between the public, private, and civil sectors to exchange knowledge and expertise, harness skills, and implement partnership projects among the three sectors, particularly regarding sustainable development.
- Provide opportunities for young researchers and students across public and private Egyptian universities to enhance their knowledge and understanding of sustainable development, its various dimensions, and their role in realizing Egypt’s Vision 2030.
- Increase awareness among educators and students in schools and universities regarding the principles of education for sustainable development.
- Offer the forum’s perspective on national projects proposed by the government, preparing pre-implementation reports that outline the potential positive and negative impacts on sustainable development.
- Establish a link between global and Egyptian scientific knowledge in sustainable development, in collaboration with universities and research centers.
- Build the capacity of civil society organizations, particularly grassroots organizations, and foster dialogue with them as key partners.
- Develop a modern information base for Egyptian media on sustainable development and green economy, using appropriate tools and communication technologies tailored to these fields
