Completion of the Arab Youth Consultations on Disaster Risk Reduction

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the Arab Youth Consultations on Disaster Risk Reduction, held today with the participation of over 366 young men and women from various Arab countries in a survey assessing opinions, challenges and priorities. Around 100 youth from across the Arab region also engaged in the working groups and brainstorming sessions that followed the survey.

The consultations included interactive discussions on the challenges of disaster risk reduction, future priorities and the role of youth in enhancing efforts to reduce these risks. Participants reviewed the results of the youth survey and exchanged inspiring ideas and creative solutions to address our shared challenges.

We extend our gratitude to all the youth for their active participation and look forward to more fruitful collaboration towards a safer and more sustainable future.
