Dr. Eng. Mohamed Mostafa El-Khayat

Former CEO of the New and Renewable Energy Authority, with over 30 years of experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Chaired the Arab Experts Committee on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency at the League of Arab States (2015–2022), and served as Co-Chair of the Joint Committee between the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

Participated in the development and implementation of numerous renewable energy strategies and projects in Egypt and Arab countries. Holds a PhD in Engineering and a Diploma in Business Administration with professional and academic contributions to the energy sector. Authored and published 11 books and received numerous awards and certificates of recognition.
