Dr. Hassan El-Shaer

Professor of Animal Production and Range Management, former Vice President of the Desert Research Center, and currently Director of the Egyptian Center of Excellence for Saline Agriculture, affiliated with the Desert Research Center. Former consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), UNESCO and the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture in Dubai. He has supervised MSc and PhD students and published more than 240 scientific papers in international and local journals, in addition to six scientific books. He has served as a principal investigator and supervised the implementation of more than 30 local and international projects.
