Prof. Yomn El Hamaky

Prof Yomn Hamaky is now working as Professor of Economics, Faculty of Business-Ain Shams University, she supervised large number of master and PhD thesis addressing diversified International as well as local Socio-Economic Challenges. She’s also the founder of human resource Unit in the faculty during more than 15 years aiming to link graduates of the Faculty of Business into the labor market and raise the skills of the faculty’s graduates to increase their employability in the labor market.

She is the president of “Integration of a better life for sustainable development” which is an NGO Aiming to enhance sustainable Development and combating poverty taking into consideration the gender perspective.
Prof Yomn is the head of Economic and Administrative council affiliated to scientific research academy which is a think tank affiliated to Minister of Higher Education in Egypt, the council has conducted several applied researches related to priorities needed to address challenges confronting achieving Inclusive Growth in Egypt.

Prof Yomn Hamaky had been A Vice President of Economic Committee, El Shoura Council during the period from 1999 to 2011; she gained multidimensional Economic, political and social experiences.

Prof. Dr. Yomn El-Hamaky served as the Lead Researcher and Project Manager, leading and managing fieldwork teams for major research and evaluation studies, most notably the “Impact Evaluation for the Egypt Enhancing Access to Finance for
Micro and Small Enterprises Project” and the “Baseline Assessment of the Cointegrated Solar Power Project in Kom Ombo – Egypt”. As expert in gender and results-based management. Dr Yomn supervised designing training materials for staffs of several ministries (health, planning, industry and trade) on budget-based performance taking gender perspective into consideration.

Conducting training programs for selected leaders in the previous ministries. Building a system of monitoring and evaluation to monitor the trainees’ performance.
As Economic and Financial advisor to Ethraa Company, Prof Yomn has managed team groups for several feasibility studies in different fields as well as conducting field studies and designing work plans for prominent companies.
