Dr. Emad Adly, Participates in the Iraqi Seminar Discussing the Significance of Sustainable Development Forums

The Iraqi Ministry of Planning will host Dr. Emad Adly, General Coordinator of the Arab Network for Environment and Development and President of the Egyptian Sustainable Development Forum, as the keynote speaker at a specialized seminar on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. The seminar will discuss the significance of sustainable development forums at both national and regional levels.

The objective of the seminar is to highlight the crucial role these forums play in promoting sustainability and developing effective development policies, while also exploring mechanisms for activating the Iraqi Forum for Sustainable Development.

During the seminar, the pioneering Egyptian experiences in the field of sustainable development will be reviewed. The focus will be on how these experiences can be leveraged to develop and strengthen the Iraqi Forum as a national platform that unites all stakeholders involved in sustainable development. The event aims to establish a roadmap for activating the forum and achieving strategic sustainable development goals in Iraq, in alignment with the country’s future vision.
